These Asian-Spiced Pecans are everything you want in a healthy snack – sweet, crunchy, salty, spicy, and incredibly addicting!

A white bowl filled with golden toasted spiced pecans on a wooden boards with a bag of pecans and sriracha seasoning behind it and loose pecans on the board.

I used Georgia Pecans to support our local farmers here in Georgia! Sriracha seasoning provides that extra kick, and can be found at most grocery stores, or on Amazon.

You can buy ordinary pecans but I opted for these home-grown New Ground Orchards Georgia Pecans. These pecans have a smooth, buttery texture and a delicious, rich flavor.

According to the Georgia Pecan Commission, "pecans are enriched with many health benefitting nutrients, minerals, and vitamins that are essential for optimum health." Pecans can reduce cholesterol levels. They are rich in healthy, monounsaturated fat that helps the heart and are high in nutrients such as zinc, vitamin E, and vitamin A to boost the immune system and ward off illness. Snack on!

Watch and learn as the "Spicy Sistahs" demonstrate how to make these Asian-Spiced Pecans!

This Asian-Spiced Pecans recipe is super easy because it requires only 5 basic ingredients, about 15 minutes to make, and one pan!

Steps to make these healthy spiced pecans:

This literally takes just 15 minutes to make these roasty, toasty Asian-Spiced Pecans!

    1. First, preheat oven to 325 degrees. Next, in a medium mixing bowl add the pecans. Mix the egg whites with the pecans and add in the sugar, cinnamon, and sriracha seasoning until pecans are thoroughly coated.
    2. Spray a baking sheet with cooking spray. Spread the pecans evenly onto the baking sheet in one layer.
    3. Lastly, bake for 15 minutes, tossing halfway through, until golden brown, dry, and crispy. (Every oven cooks differently so check for doneness.) Serve while warm.

Make these Asian-Spiced Pecans in bulk! You're going to want to have plenty on hand for snacking. Not only are these pecans delicious, but they're considered "Nutrition in a Nutshell!"

    Tips and Tricks

    • No need for salt in this spiced pecan recipe. The sriracha seasoning usually contains salt. Taste first!
    • Every oven cooks differently, so check for doneness.
    • Don't have white sugar? Substitute it for brown sugar instead.
    • Substitute pecans for walnuts or almonds. Whatever nuts you have on hand.
    • Try different spice combos. Get creative!
    • Make sure the pecans are completely cool before storing them in an airtight container.
