These fruity and refreshing, 4 Ingredient Mango Coconut Lime Popsicles are the perfect summer treat. Made with mangos, coconut yogurt, limes, and maple syrup, these creamy mango popsicles are incredibly easy to make!

What do you do with a sack of fresh mangos that your sister-in-law brings to you from her Florida mango tree? You turn it into mango popsicles, of course! These incredibly delicious (and healthy) mango popsicles are also gluten free!

Growing up in Florida, I had plenty of access to fresh mango trees. But, not where I currently live. Fortunately, mangos are in season so they're available everywhere right now! (Happy dance!)

TOP TIP: I bought myself this handy mango-cutting gadget so I don't slice my fingers off! Mangos are slippery little devils when you peel and pit them, so you need to be very careful!

If you're obsessed with mangos like I am right now, try my no-churn Mango Coconut Sorbet. It's also very refreshing and delicious!

So, how do you turn mangos into creamy mango coconut popsicles? Read on, and learn how easy it is!

Ingredients you'll need to make these popsicles

Labeled ingredients in bowls on top of a gray surface for making mango coconut lime popsicles, with a white napkin on the side.

I'm not kidding when I say this mango coconut popsicle recipe is the easiest thing ever! There are just four ingredients! But you can always jazz it up with other ingredients too. Here's what you'll need for my mango popsicle recipe:

    • Mangos (fresh, or a bag of frozen mangos chunks)
    • Coconut yogurt (sweetened or unsweetened depending on how sweet you like it). I used this brand of coconut yogurt that has a low sugar content.
    • Limes
    • Organic maple syrup

[*See recipe card for exact quantities.]

    Additions and substitutions

    • Add some fresh mint to the blender for another flavor profile.
    • Add in some crushed pineapple for a taste of the Caribbean!
    • Throw in a ¼ cup of shredded coconut for texture.
    • Fresh mangos have the most flavor, but if you can't find fresh you can always use a bag of frozen mango chunks. You can usually find them in the frozen fruit section at most grocery stores.
    • I froze my cut-up mangos for about an hour, which helps to keep the popsicle sticks in place. It also helps the popsicles freeze quicker.
    • Use a cup of full-fat coconut milk instead of yogurt for a creamier, coco-nuttier option.
    • You can use the same amount of agave nectar or honey instead of maple syrup. Your preference!
    • If you don't want the extra sweetness (because ripe mangos are super sweet), you can eliminate the maple syrup altogether.

How to make mango coconut popsicles

Follow these easy steps below to make these creamy mango popsicles:

[*See recipe card for detailed instructions.]

Chunks of mango in a blender with limes, yogurt, and maple syrup on the side, on top of a gray surface with a white napkin on the side.

    1. Add the mango chunks into a high-powered blender (like the Ninja Professional Blender). Blend until smooth.

Chunks of mango and coconut yogurt in a blender with a lime squeezer and fresh limes on the side, on top of a gray surface with a white napkin on the side.

    2. Then, add in the coconut yogurt, maple syrup, and juice of two limes. Purée until smooth and creamy.

Mango coconut lime popsicles in a red popsicle mold ready for the freezer, on top of a gray surface with a white napkin on the side.

    3. Fill a popsicle mold with the mango coconut purée. Add the popsicle sticks before freezing.

    4. Freeze for at least 4 hours, or overnight. Enjoy!

TIP: If the popsicle mold you’re using doesn't have the sticks included, cover the tops of the popsicles with aluminum foil, and poke a stick through each popsicle before freezing. The foil will hold the sticks in place!

These Mango Coconut Lime Popsicles are so fruity and creamy that every bite feels like summer on a stick!

    FAQ

How many varieties of mangos are there?

There are over 1000 varieties of mangoes, each with its unique taste, texture, and personality. I used sweet Haden mangos for this recipe, which is what's season right now.

    Are mangos good for you?

Yes! Mangos contain over 20 different vitamins and minerals, helping to make them a superfood. Each serving of mango is fat free, sodium free, and cholesterol free, and one whole mango is only 202 calories!

How do you make popsicles without a mold?

You can make popsicles in ice cube trays, small plastic or glass cups, yogurt containers, muffin tins, even shot glasses!

    Storage

Store the popsicles in the freezer for up to 3 months (that is, if there are any left!).

    Recipe notes

    • Fresh mangos have the most flavor, but if you can't find fresh you can always use a bag of frozen mango chunks. You can usually find them in the frozen fruit section at most grocery stores.
    • You can use a cup of full-fat coconut milk instead of yogurt for a creamier, coco-nuttier option.
    • Instead of a blender, you can also use a food processor to make the popsicle mixture.
    • If you don't have a popsicle mold, you can make popsicles in ice cube trays, small plastic or glass cups, yogurt containers, muffin tins, even shot glasses!
    • If the popsicle mold you’re using doesn't have the sticks included, cover the tops of the popsicles with aluminum foil, and poke a stick through each popsicle before freezing. The foil will hold the sticks in place!

So glad you loved the popsicles, Denise! Great idea to add in the lime zest. Try the shredded coconut next time you make these. It adds great texture!
