After cutting into thick strips, evenly cube the flank steak into 1-inch pieces.

Finely mince a 1-inch, peeled piece of fresh ginger.

Finely mince 3 whole garlic cloves.

Place the cubed beef in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper.

Thoroughly coat the cubed beef in corn starch.

Make the sauce for the beef and add it into the bowl.

Stir the sauce into the beef until well-combined.

Slice the scallions, using both the green and white parts, and add it to the beef mixture.

Add the beef mixture into the slow cooker (a.k.a., Crockpot). Set it and forget it!
